Realme 12X 5G has been officially announced in China with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging. The phone is set to launch in India soon, with the company unveiling the launch date. Realme has also given a sneak peek into some of the features of the device. The Indian version will have a few variations compared to its Chinese counterpart, but the design is expected to be similar to the global variant of the Realme 12X 5G.
The company has confirmed through a press release that the Realme 12X 5G will debut in India on April 2 at 12pm IST. The phone will be up for grabs on Flipkart and the Realme India website. In India Realme 12X 5G will come in green and purple color. It will sport the distinctive large circular rear camera module that has become a trademark of recent Realme 12 series smartphones.

The Realme 12X 5G is set to make its debut in India, and the company has hinted that it will come with the Dynamic Button feature. This nifty button serves as a shortcut for various functions such as toggling Airplane and DND modes, controlling the camera shutter, activating the flashlight, and more. Additionally, the phone will also boast the Air Gestures feature, which was previously introduced on the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G.
In China, the Realme 12X 5G is equipped with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, complete with an LED flash. It also features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a fingerprint sensor on the side, and has an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. The phone comes in Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14. The starting price for the 12GB + 256GB variant is CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,000), while the 12GB + 512GB option is priced at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 20,000).
