Google is gearing up to unveil the Pixel 8a at the upcoming I/O event. New renders of the phone have surfaced just a month before the event, showcasing the handset in four different color options. The leaked images suggest that the Pixel 8a will maintain the design language of last year’s Pixel 8 series.
Arsene Lupin (@MysteryLupin) shared alleged images of the Pixel 8a on X, revealing the phone from various angles. While the pictures don’t provide any specifications, they do offer a clearer look at the design compared to previous leaks. The renders confirm features like a hole-punch display, rounded corners, noticeable bezels, and a dual rear camera setup.
The Pixel 8a is expected to be available in black, beige, blue, and green color options, possibly named Porcelain, Bay, Mint, and Obsidian. It seems to follow the design cues of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
Set to launch on May 14 during Google I/O, the Pixel 8a may sport a 6.1-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, powered by Google’s Tensor G3 SoC and 8GB of RAM. It could house a 5,000mAh battery with 27W wired fast charging support, measuring 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9mm.
The base variant of the Pixel 8a is rumored to be priced at EUR 570 (around Rs. 51,000) in the UK for 128GB storage, while the 256GB variant might cost EUR 630 (approximately Rs. 56,000).
