Vivo X Fold 3 Pro made its debut in China back in March. Now, Vivo is getting ready to launch the foldable phone in India. While the exact release date is still unconfirmed, a new report suggests that it will be officially announced next month. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and boasts an 8.03-inch AMOLED inner screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It also sports a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage.
According to MySmartPrice, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is expected to hit the Indian market in ‘early June’. If this information is accurate, it will mark the first time a Vivo foldable phone is available globally.
Previous foldable models from Vivo like the Vivo Fold 2 and Fold+ were limited to China. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will face competition from devices like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 5, OnePlus Open, and Tecno Phantom V Fold in India.
Recently, a Vivo phone with the model number V2330 was spotted on Geekbench, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and running Android 14. This device is believed to be the international variant of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro.
The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro was launched in China with Android 14 and OriginOS 4. It comes with an 8.03-inch primary 2K AMOLED display and a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover display, both supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS4.0 storage. It features a Vivo V3 imaging chip and a Carbon fiber hinge certified by TUV Rheinland for 500,000 folds.
In terms of cameras, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera. There are also 32-megapixel selfie shooters on both the outer and inner screens. The device is IPX8 rated for dust and water resistance and comes with a 5,700mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
