On Friday, Samsung revealed a temporary discount for its Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 smartphones in India. The South Korean technology leader is providing this discount in the form of either bank cashback or an upgrade bonus for customers transitioning from an older Samsung device. According to the company, the effective price for the Galaxy A35, featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, will be Rs. 25,999, while the same storage configuration for the Galaxy A55 will be available for Rs. 35,999.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 is set to be offered at a reduced price of Rs. 6,000. This discount can be obtained either through bank cashback from prominent financial institutions or as an upgrade incentive. In a similar vein, the Galaxy A35 is being offered with a discount of Rs. 5,000. These promotional offers are applicable to equated monthly installment (EMI) transactions for a duration of up to six months. Customers can purchase these smartphones through the company’s official website, physical retail locations, and various e-commerce platforms.
It is important to note that the Galaxy A55 is available in three color options: Awesome Lilac, Awesome Ice Blue, and Awesome Navy, while the Galaxy A35 comes in Awesome Ice Blue and Awesome Navy color variants.

The dual-SIM (Nano) variants, Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35, are equipped with a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) Super AMOLED display, offering a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.
The Galaxy A55 is powered by the Exynos 1480 SoC, which utilizes 4nm process technology. It can be configured with up to 12GB of RAM and offers a maximum of 256GB of internal storage. In contrast, the Galaxy A35 features the Exynos 1380 chipset, built on 5nm process technology, and supports up to 8GB of RAM along with 256GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Galaxy A55 includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with autofocus, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies, it is equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A35’s rear camera system consists of a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and autofocus, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. Additionally, it features a 13-megapixel front camera for capturing selfies and conducting video calls.
