The Redmi Watch 5 Active was introduced in India on Tuesday, together with the Xiaomi X Pro QLED 2024 smart TV series and the Xiaomi Power Bank 4i with a capacity of 20,000mAh. This smartwatch features a zinc-alloy metal body and is rated IPX8 for water resistance. It has a 2-inch rectangular screen and is said to provide a battery life of up to 18 days. It is reported that typical usage of the device encompasses heart rate monitoring at intervals of every 10 minutes, deactivated high-precision sleep monitoring, 15 minutes of Bluetooth calling, and 90 minutes of weekly exercise, among various other configurations.
In contrast, extensive usage of the Redmi Watch 5 Active is characterized by features such as heart rate monitoring every minute, activated high-precision sleep monitoring, 30 minutes of Bluetooth calls, and 150 minutes of exercise weekly. The smartwatch is equipped with magnetic pin charging capabilities. The dimensions of the watch body are 49.1 x 40.4 x 11.4 mm, and with the straps included, it has a total weight of 42.2 grams.
