The Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ are now available in India after being introduced in Europe back in April. These wireless earphones come with Hi-Res Audio certifications, dynamic active noise cancellation (ANC) support, triple mic systems, and water-repellant designs. Users can easily pair them with the Moto Buds app. The Moto Buds+ even boast “Sound by Bose,” indicating that the audio has been fine-tuned and certified by the renowned American audio brand.
Moto Buds, Moto Buds+ price in India, availability
The Moto Buds are available in India for Rs. 4,999 with a Rs. 1,000 instant discount on ICICI Bank credit cards, making the effective price Rs. 3,999. These earphones come in Coral Peach, Glacier Blue, and Starlight Blue. A fourth Kiwi Green option is expected to be released soon.
On the other hand, the Moto Buds+ are priced at Rs. 9,999 in India. ICICI Bank credit card holders can avail a Rs. 2,000 instant discount, bringing the effective price down to Rs. 7,999. They are offered in Beach Sand and Forest Grey colors. Both earphones can be purchased in India through Flipkart.
Moto Buds, Moto Buds+ specifications, features
The Moto Buds have single 12.4mm dynamic drivers, while the Moto Buds+ come with dual dynamic drivers – an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. The Buds offer up to 50dB ANC, while the Buds+ offer up to 46dB ANC. They both have three preset modes of noise cancellation – Transparency, Adaptive, and Noise Cancellation.
The higher-end Moto Buds+ also have the “Sound by Bose” tag and offer the Dolby Head Tracking feature, which adjusts audio based on head movements. They also support Dolby Atmos. Both the Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ have Hi-Res Audio certifications. They have triple mic systems with integrated environmental noise cancellation (ENC) for improved call clarity.
The Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ are compatible with the Moto Buds application, which allows users to customize touch functions and sound experience with the equalizer. Currently, the application is only available on the Play Store for Android devices, but an iOS version is in the works.
In terms of battery life, the Moto Buds claim to offer up to 42 hours, while the Moto Buds+ offer up to 38 hours. With ANC off, the Moto Buds provide up to nine hours of playback, while the Buds+ offer up to eight hours. Quick Charge gives the Moto Buds two hours of runtime with just 10 minutes of charging, while the Buds+ offer up to three hours. Both earphone charging cases support USB Type-C charging, and the Moto Buds+ case also supports wireless charging.
The charging cases of the Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ have IPX4 ratings for splash resistance. The Moto Buds+ earphones have an additional IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. Both earphones support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The Moto Buds charging case with the earphones weighs 36g, while the Moto Buds+ weigh 42.8g.
