OnePlus 12R made its debut in India with a fresh hue called Sunset Dune, released on Friday. The company stated that this new color option is available in a single storage variant and is accompanied by various promotions such as zero-cost EMI and complimentary OnePlus Buds 3 upon purchase. Despite the updated color, the smartphone’s specifications remain unchanged. This device marks the first of two smartphones unveiled by OnePlus this month, preceding the launch of the OnePlus Nord 4 on July 16.
OnePlus 12R Sunset Dune Price in India
The OnePlus 12R in Sunset Dune color is priced at Rs. 42,999 in India. It will be offered in a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, which was initially launched in March. The handset will be available for purchase starting from July 20, as confirmed by the company. The new Sunset Dune color joins Cool Blue and Iron Gray as the available color options for this smartphone.
According to the company, customers can benefit from bank discounts of Rs. 3,000 with ICICI Bank and OneCard Credit Cards, as well as EMI transactions. Additionally, OnePlus is including OnePlus Buds 3 with the Sunset Dune variant of the OnePlus 12R at no additional cost. For those who prefer not to pay the full amount upfront, there is an option for a 9-month no-cost EMI plan.

The OnePlus 12R boasts a 6.78-inch LTPO 4.0 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,264×2,780 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Running on OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device is equipped with a Cryo-Velocity Cooling System to ensure thermal efficiency. In terms of camera capabilities, it features a triple rear camera setup including a primary 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Additionally, it sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The OnePlus 12R is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC wired charging support.
