The iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro are set to be launched in India on August 21. The company has already disclosed information regarding the design, color variants, and chipset specifications of these smartphones. The iQOO Z9s will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, whereas the iQOO Z9s Pro will feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Additionally, iQOO has now confirmed various other specifications of the forthcoming devices, including details about the display, camera, battery, charging capabilities, and IP rating.
iQOO Z9s, iQOO Z9s Pro Key Features Revealed
The iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro are set to feature 3D curved AMOLED displays with a refresh rate of 120Hz, as confirmed by the company on an official microsite. The Pro variant will offer a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Both models are designed with IP64-rated constructions, ensuring resistance to dust and splashes. The dimensions of the devices are reported to be 0.749 cm (7.49 mm) in thickness.
Both the iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro will be equipped with 5,500mAh batteries. Additionally, the Pro model is confirmed to support 80W wired fast charging, while the charging specifications for the iQOO Z9s remain unverified.
The iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro are set to incorporate dual rear camera systems, featuring a primary 50-megapixel IMX882 sensor equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). The standard model will include a 2-megapixel depth sensor, whereas the Pro version will be enhanced with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. Both devices are capable of recording 4K video with OIS support and come with AI-driven functionalities such as AI Photo Enhance and AI Erase.
Earlier, the microsite disclosed that the iQOO Z9s will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, while the iQOO Z9s Pro will utilize the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. The base iQOO Z9s will be available in Onyx Green and Titanium Matte colors, while the Pro variant will come in Flamboyant Orange and Luxe Marble finishes.
